Osceola News
In Thursday’s newspaper:
No damages from Fay
Osceola County was under a tornado warning until Tuesday at 4:15 p.m. By 5 p.m., the warning was reduced to a watch that continued until early Wednesday.

At approximately 3 p.m. Tuesday, a broken palm tree limb blew into an overhead power line near U.S. Highway 192 close to Osceola Heritage Park, resulting in a power outage to 153 Kissimmee Utility Authority customers.

No damages were reported in Osceola County. The county's Emergency Operations Center was activated Tuesday morning, with emergency management personnel on call to help residents. St. Cloud's EOC also was activated. Both EOCs were still open at press time Wednesday.

Be sure to read the full story in Thursday’s newspaper.
